One of the worst films I've watched

This was a brutal watch but damn it, Tom Cruise was amazing in this.

Meh. The movie feels like a huge buildup and then just… fizzles. They deliver the anti-war blind patriotism=bad message very well but in a way that makes the movie just not fun.

War is horror and this movie demonstrates that. Nothing like a Vietnam war film to get you depressed and thinking about how messed up the country is.

8/10 Great real life story which covers a wide range of subjects including PTSD. A story well told and heard. Performances and direction pulls you in, the 2h 24min past by. Worth a watch.

Was a good film. Interesting take on the Vietnam war and on patriotism. Tom Cruise was great but ngl struggled to look at him with his long hair and moustache. Interesting to learn it is based on a real person and his book

What a depressing movie haha. Cruise does well but also it’s just such a dreadful movie haha

Great acting but a little much for me
