Cool story and like the switching tension in the final

I’m a sucker for a sports movie. And this was a good one. As a tennis player in high school and someone who recently started watching pro tennis, seeing a story about Wimbledon in the 80s and the pros who played was awesome! The cinematography was beautiful especially during the match. Loved the overhead shot of the court. The acting was well done. However, I was expecting more story for McEnroe. I wanted to see a little more of his past along with everything we got with borg. That could’ve been balanced more in my opinion. And I would’ve liked to see more of the tournament instead of just a few rounds. Some of the pacing felt off as well. I wanted to like this more, but I have to go with MEH.

It was cool to see the contrasting styles driving the two players, while exploring how similar they were at the same time. I thought both actors did a great job making us invested in these 2 even if you don’t have any tennis knowledge or interest. Really solid movie
