This was one of those movies that left me wishing I could forget about it and watch it all over again just to have that visceral reaction that the first watch gave me. It absolutely destroyed me in every way possible and yet I return to it all the time to experience that emotion.

An extremely melancholy plot, be warned of that. This was definitely my kind of film and with a couple tweaks throughout it, it could have been perfect.

recommend this movie to everyone. directed, written and acted by justin chon. just a beautiful story about the struggle of an immigrant in america. must watch drama. the little girl is brilliant too

A gut wrenching beautiful, horrible, heart breaking "must see" film, but more importantly, a film from which we (as a global society) MUST LEARN!! A very sad film but based on true stories. It’s very inhumane to deport these adoptees & is against humanity!

SO SAD OH MY GOD but totally worth the watch, i don't think i've seen another movie like this and the storyline and way it was shot was just so good, similar to the florida project kind of but obviously different stories entirely 9/10
