I don't give a single fuck who directed this, or that it's studied in film uni's.
I tried over and over to find anything to like about it but I js couldn't.
Decent themes that were poorly executed in a weak plot.
Reminded me of Coppola's The conversation, which is waay better.

hehe I liked feeling like a detective watching this; piecing everything together when I didn’t even know what I was looking for

sometimes when watching a film you realize you’re not supposed to be watching but seeing. sometimes a films main objective is aiming to be an experience. this is one of those times.

Loved the 60s fashion and his flat. Probably should have made a phone call earlier. What’s with the mimes? Needs more detective vibes.

A fascinating, abstract and slow moving thriller about an “alleged” murder captured on a photo

She’s gorgeous, she’s beautiful. She has a search party trying to find the plot (or at least the over arching one).

This type of plot only works if the main character is likable, which Thomas wasn't. He was a creep and an asshole. Brian De Palma pretty much makes a better version of this movie with Blow Out. The plot overall is just really boring too. Just not a single interesting character.
