This movie could have been good. It had a really interesting premise, but the plot was all over the place and the pacing was horrendous. Felt like there were more plot holes than genuine plot.

Could’ve been better if they really leaned into the “Bring Your Daughter To Work” aspect. If we got some better idea of the circles. If we dive more into the “none of this is real” comments. The videos? The video store? The adoption? Instead we are given these seeds and nothing is nurtured or grown. It’s scattershot. Had potential. I don’t hate it, just disappointed by it.

Very Rise of Leslie Vernon coded with its setup in it being about a slasher killer in training, but lost much of the intrigue of the lore as the movie went on and became more of an average high school slasher. I thought it was watchable but a missed opportunity
