Bloodsport Reviews

So unintentionally goofy it’s hilarious. Jackson’s a real one

Iconic 80s fighting movie

Pretty standard martial arts tournament movie. With 80s music and acting. JCVD is a true specimen. Plus Donald Gibb.

definitely one of the films which made me want to do martial arts. jean claud van damme played this role so well that this could’ve just been a documentary.

5/10

Bloodsport is a classic action movie with some really impressive fight scenes. Jean-Claude Van Damme is great in the role, and the tournament makes the movie exciting from start to finish. A fun watch if you like martial arts and old-school action.

Type of movie they show the characters in a movie watching, fell asleep towards the end

Better than any Chuck Norris film I’ve seen. Real martial arts, real backdrops. Watching it again rn.

Good

Amazing!

Horribly fun. Awful acting and cliche but it’s goofy fun.

I held out on rewatching this for the 100th time, waiting on a proper 4K release, but it looks like it's not happening anytime soon.

Classic Jean-Claude Van Damme movie

First fight in the Kumite and he breaks the f’n world record! As good as it gets….ages like fine wine. JCVD 4 Life!

A film that is not even trying to hide it…

Great film despite the cheesy acting. Jean Claude van dam is as alpha as it gets and Donald Gibb (his American friend) is funny

JCVD is the Man
Love these movies because I watched them with my dad
Terrible acting and basic story but I am biased.
This was inspiration for UFC and showed rare shots of Kowloon Walled City in Hong Kong

I didn’t know this was based on true events
