Blood Diamond

Very good movie and extremely under-appreciated. Larger than life epic condensed into 2 and a half hours. Great performances all around (seriously one of DiCaprio’s best. Touching story, realistic (with some liberties taken)
Only gripe is it’s a bit on the nose

Little bit Hollywoody for sure, but still a really good story told and definitely worth watching

i just love when art affects change. hollywood will always have its inaccuracies when depicting african countries, but, as an african, i think movies like these are really important. djimon hounsou is such an under appreciated actor.
