The use of color in Giallo is always amazing! This is definitely my favorite as of now from Mario Bava, and I can see how this contributed to making that genre explode with popularity even after the early 60s.

Incredible. Bava at the top of his game with the cinematography and narrative storytelling. This movie is even better if you happen to watch it during a thunderstorm. I cannot encourage this movie enough, especially if you are a fan of the giallo subgenre. Like reading a mystery

one of the best films i’ve ever seen. the cinematography is genuinely stunning (the most beautiful i have ever seen! up with suspiria) , the story is beautifully written, and it has such a wonderful and engaging ending. pls pls pls everyone watch this movie
