Interesting setup, but it fails on delivery. It’s a lot of google searches, FaceTime calls, and text messages. Jumbly graphics and distortion get in the way more than adding to the mood or feel of the story. The actors do a good job, they’re just saddled with a mess of a film. It has a “filmed during lockdown” vibe, but doesn’t deliver like others before it.
