I really thought the white boy was G-Eazy for like 20 minutes before I realized he wasn't. There's something about Daveed Diggs and his level of charisma. Very cheesy, what happened near the end with the cop, but other than than an undeniably well crafted movie. Stream clipping.

This movie is beautiful. The different dynamics it portrays through relationship, along with the usage of rap/poetry to describe the emotions is phenomenal.

It’s alright, wouldn’t watch again and have seen better with a similar topic (la haine) just hits on some different points

Great story, naturally got the point across most of the time, alittle too poignant at others. LOVED the rap element. Great tribute to Oakland, acting felt over the top at times, great visuals, ending felt extreme haha

Bay area movie, comedy with good drama! The music and rapping was good, story goes full circle

Miles was definitely one of those friends parents always warn you about hanging out with too much lol

Eye opening commentary on police violence. Feels like it stumbles the first two acts but the third brings it together. Miles is hilarious.

Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal did an amazing job writing the script. The dialogue is insane, def check out their other work!
