This movie is full of metaphors and symbolism that kept me interested until the end.The movie is about the negative physiological effects of trying to be perfect.I believe Natalie Portman does an amazing job of portraying her character. Almost a horror movie extricating to watch

This movie is dark in a genius way. It tells a beautiful and tragic story of loosing oneself to the madness of perfection

this movie was absolutely PHENOMENAL. some scenes were very uncomfortable to watch and it’s definitely not so easy to understand but nonetheless it’s definitely a movie to watch until the end. 9/10

Acting from Natalie Portman was really, really good and the writing was done well. What’s keeping me from “liking” or “loving” this movie is not the quality but rather how uncomfortable it made me. It being able to do so speaks to its quality writing but it was too much for me.

whiplash for gooners

one of my favorite films of all time. shows the brutality of perfection through a display of art and ballet. acting was on point, and the film left me curious about the main character.

a tragically beautiful film, it puts you in nina’s shoes as she continually loses herself in the pursuit of perfection and is praised for doing so, which is expertly portrayed in a way that feels all too real despite the derealization

Idek what rating to give this but it was mid to me like the cinematics and stuff were good and I get the whole psychological thing like the need for perfection really fucked her up but it was kind of boring. Not something I would sit down and willingly put on

It's black swan. She gizhes out and stuff happens. It's pretty good.
