The duo is the reason to watch. While Tommy Boy is the stronger film overall, this still works because of that same chaotic energy & comedic rhythm. Farley & Spades chemistry is effortless, It’s familiar territory with a different backdrop, not a reinvention.

So this isn’t a Tommy boy sequel…

Chris Farley and David Spade were imo an Abbot and Costello type team. The stuff Chris Farley didn’t in the movie just makes this a very funny family comedy. Some adult stuff but not bad

The fire extinguisher scene is peak comedy

This is easily my favorite comedy movie! I’ve been watching it since I was a kid, and now my kids are watching it and laughing to tears. Absolutely hilarious. 10/10

Every political campaign should have as funny as Chris.

painfully mediocre in every aspect, especially writing and acting; the antics become so incoherently wacky that you can’t help but smile at times

Classic Farley and spade

This movie and Tommy Boy are never pass up options. Farley is a genius and unstoppable and Spade quips off him well.
