Black Hawk Down

While there is nothing really wrong with this film on paper, it suffers from being too much of the same. Most scenes in the film are just shot-reverse shots of people shooting guns and people getting shot, and eventually you become desensitized to it and it becomes boring. 5.5/10

There's nothing really that stands out here from other war films I've seen, but Ridley Scott didn't shy away from showing you the realism of war and how brutal it really is. However, the biggest detriment is you don't really get any character moments till around the final act, and some of the war scenes got a bit repetitive.

A great telling of a tragic event

but 8/10 for someone who likes war movies.
tense, realistic, tragedy.
