Black dynamite is a one of kind gem, I’ve never seen anything like it, and probably never will, it’s insanely fast in its pacing, it makes no effort to not offend its audience, and the best part, Black Dynamite is a goddamn badass.

Black Dynamite is one of those kind of films where it can’t be done any better or differently, if the film was any different pace wise, or side characters, to even dialogue, it wouldn’t work, the execution wouldn’t have been there, or as good as it was.

Plot 9.2/10 (it changed the end goal every 20 minutes and it somehow works.)

Soundtrack/Score 9.1/10 ( DY-NO-MITE)

Acting 9/10 (“Your knowledge of scientific biological transmogrification is only outmatched by your zest for kung-fu treachery!” An actual line and it’s delivered beautifully.)

Cinematography 9.4/10 (believe it or not but despite the fact it’s so heavy on the comedy, it doesn’t forget its setting or how it should be done, and it’s sad that that’s so rare with movies.)

Character Development 8/10 (comedy, not expecting much but still fairly standard.)

Writing 10/10 (the jokes were absolutely fucking insane, there’s a whole bit of kung-fu fighting Richard Nixon to keep your dick the same size.)

Ending 8.9/10 (satisfying and that’s good enough for a comedy.)

Direction 9.5/10 (I NEED Scott Sanders to direct more movies, DO IT I BEG.)

A near perfect mix of homage and satire of 70's Blaxploitation movies

I think that this is one of the only sincere parody movies I seen and I love it.

I watched the show before I watched the movie and had a great time watching it because the movie had the goofiness as the show

this movie was really entertaining and fun, but i also think it’s a satirical piece about certain things the us government has done to harm black communities. so to see Black Dynamite succeed, in honor of his many friends, then go on to serve his community is very powerful!
