Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

The right sort of women empowerment. Not fake feminism, no male gaze, presented in an engaging, charming way. And that’s just the outer message, the movie itself is energetic, funny, the acting is amazing! This is probably one of my favourite movies :)

I don’t know how so many people are giving this movie good reviews. Don’t waste your time or money on this hunk of junk.

In no way shape or form is this meh because it's a "female led movie," it's just that outside of Margot Robbie/Harley Quinn...it was literally "meh."
Race-swapping Black Canary was a bad move, at least Huntress was half decent but still, Caine was just such an annoying character
