Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)

I don’t know how so many people are giving this movie good reviews. Don’t waste your time or money on this hunk of junk.

The right sort of women empowerment. Not fake feminism, no male gaze, presented in an engaging, charming way. And that’s just the outer message, the movie itself is energetic, funny, the acting is amazing! This is probably one of my favourite movies :)

I enjoyed Harley Quinn and how this was made like a Deadpool-Esque DC movie, but that was about it. The rest of the cast just felt off and were nowhere near the comic characters (Cass Cain 🫥). The plot was whatever and Ewan McGregor felt truly wasted here.

I know a lot of people don't like it, but Margot does it so well that I forgive the bad things 😸
