The children in movie is so cute and the story great

Hate to give this such a low rating, but it was so slow and dull. I didn't care whether he got his bike back or not. I can recognize it's a well-made and acted film, but that's not enough for me to be high on it.

A story that makes you feel the weight of a simple theft that might mean a little cash to the thief could be detrimental to the person who got robbed. The cinematography is great and Italy is beautiful

Great movie! Despite its such a “small” story of a simple man who’s bike gets stolen, the movie manages to make you feel the strong emotional impact it has on the characters.
The dynamic between the father and his son is depicted with such nuance and emotional complexity.

Studied it for uni, a bit meh imo

triste historia sobre pobreza y desigualdad. con el simple elemento de una bicicleta esta película logra hacer una crítica social completa y hacernos sentir la desesperación de este hombre y su familia.

I mean it’s a good movie but it’s just uhhh I don’t like some of the decisions made in this movie, he should have looked harder ngtl

it depicts a precarious post war situation in Italy with the direction of de Sica

6/10. Kinda of boring at times but the story was good and the main characters downfall was portrayed very well. It’s a great story of the time and showing the struggles of the time. The ending was also very sad.
