Not terrible and is creative but bro nobody outside of the UK give a flying f#€£ about Robbie Williams. Just a boring film through and through.

This movie amazed me.
I came into the theatre never expecting what would come.
The story, the acting, the choreography, everything was great!
I would love to watch this film again.

Could be a love if I had any baseline idea of who Robbie Williams was. CGI very well done on the ape and using it gave them some more freedom in storytelling. More entertaining than other musical biopics I’ve seen even though I didn’t know the guy.

I’m biased as hell because I’ve been a Robbie fan since Take That. But beyond that…this movie is a masterpiece even if you aren’t aware of who Robbie Williams is.

Was not expecting to cry at this at all, but somehow I couldn't stop. The older Robbie gets, the more of a fan I become. Listening to his discography, it's clear where his hurt and healing lie, but to see it intertwined with insane visuals like this? It's heartbreak amplified through stage speakers. I was unsure about the monkey idea, but honestly, it wouldn't be the same without it. The narration too. It's so simple yet so effective since the story is coming straight from the source. The directing, cinematography, casting, music, metaphors, and choreography – the artistic choices all around are incredibly captivating. From relatable rags to record-breaking riches. I mean, it's clear why he holds the record for the largest UK crowd. 'Take That' Gallagher.

10/10 honestly i didnt know who robbie williams was so i wasn’t expecting anything when my bf put this on. its all amazing the song numbers, cinematography, the cgi, the storyline, the writing i really loved it and the whole monkey metaphor was so unique and incredible done

This was much better than I expected.I don’t even know RW that much, but this movie was really good. It was shot in such a unique way the director had a lot of fun with it. The story had me hooked, and the end gave me goosebumps. Room for improvement ofc but pretty decent

Personally I need more biopics with this kind of creativity and personal touch. The CGI portrayal of Robbie Williams not only works but makes it a fun watch, and I feel I still got to know Robbie as a person while illustrating his personal struggles.

I had no idea who Robbie Williams was going into this movie and I didn’t recognize any song that was played but that didn’t matter because this was one of the most unique and entertaining biopics I’ve ever seen. I really respect the choice of just going for it with the CGI monkey

This is such a great movie. The production, editing, cinematography…I just don’t know how it didn’t garner more nominations. And the monkey is so necessary to add the depth and layers that without would just be an average biography/autobiography.

Hey friends! I just watched the 2024 biographical musical drama film "Better Man" and I'm still reeling from the experience!

This film tells the incredible story of English singer Robbie Williams, but with a twist - Williams is portrayed as an anthropomorphic chimpanzee using cutting-edge CGI! I know it sounds unusual, but trust me, it WORKS!

Jonno Davies brings Robbie to life using motion capture, and the voice work is shared between Davies and Robbie himself. The result is a performance that's both deeply personal and universally relatable.

The supporting cast, including Steve Pemberton, Kate Mulvany, Alison Steadman, and Damon Herriman, deliver fantastic performances that add depth and nuance to the story.

The music, of course, is a highlight - with Robbie's iconic hits woven seamlessly into the narrative. I found myself singing along to "Angels" and "Let Me Entertain You"!

What truly impressed me, though, was the film's thoughtful exploration of Robbie's struggles with fame, mental health, and relationships. It's a powerful reminder that even the most seemingly confident performers can be hiding vulnerabilities.

Overall, I'd give "Better Man" a well-deserved 8.3/10! If you're a Robbie Williams fan or just love a good musical biopic, do yourself a favor and check this one out!
