I watched this movie only on a whim, but it's very cute and funny. Johnny depp is wonderful as Benny, with the film, mostly focused on mentally ill people finding their place in the world. 7/10

Johnny Depp really made this movie, I feel without his character of Sam and the soundtrack this movie would just sorta be mediocre.

Honestly love this film — so many of Johnny Depp’s early work before becoming a renowned character actor gets offensively overlooked and this is one of his hidden gems. Plus I had the biggest crush on Mary Stuart Masterson as a kid, one of my favorite actresses.
