Not fun

Didn’t enjoy it as I wanted to but great acting from Jack Lowden! 🙌🏽

To be fair, i was confused half of the time when it came to the characters, timeline etc, but i must say that regardless of that, I loved the mood of this film and the acting. I think it portrays in a very touching way the horrors of war and the pain of love and loss.

Slow start. Worth persisting because jack lowden is amazing, as are most of the cast. And the one liners are worthy of oscar wilde

Based on poet Sigfried Sassoon- I found the storytelling lacked direction or resolution. I did appreciate the WW1 documentary aspects.

Most of it was good, but I wish they focused more on the relationship he had with Tennant. It felt very glossed over and historically inaccurate.
