🦇 Opinion: This movie didn’t need to make my gay heart as emotional as it did

Such a good movie about how drug addiction has affected today’s youth and still a very relevant plot 10 years later. I wonder if Rob Reiner made this movie about his son who recently had a psychotic break and killed him and his wife. RIP

A story about privilege yes, addiction however does not discriminate. Good depiction of the progression of addiction, & shows anyone is eligible. I think the father did the right thing by not enabling his son. Had he continued to do that he would have died for sure.

tbh i feel like the movie is rlly underrated! there r some rlly sensitive scenes n points where ur not going to love his decisions, but it felt rlly raw n i think it highlights a lot of important things
