I cannot explain it but this is literally my favorite movie. It’s just your basic alien action movie but I watch this movie no less than once a month and I can’t stop. 🤷🏼‍♀️

There is only one reason to watch this movie and it’s the scene of the battle. Ok two reasons if you include Rihanna

Watched this because of the director, and it's definitely not his best. It starts silly, like a Micheal Bay movie...30 minutes later it turns into a pure Peter Berg masterpiece. The creativity behind each step of the alien introduction was mesmerising. Unfortunately, the rest of it plays out like the generic blockbusters of its time. It turns into Avatar, but if the Navi came to Earth? Then they play irl 'Battleships', and I wish it didn't exist. I love the bits of random comedy, it just doesn't match the scale of what's going on. By the end, nothing makes sense and you're left with the same visuals and a stacked cast.

Aliens nur manchmal stark und dann wieder schwach dargestellt, sonst wirklich alles perfekt

Obviously not something to be taken seriously but if you look at it in that light it’s pretty great decent cgi and makes you feel like a badass AMERICA 🦅🦅🦅🦅

guilty pleasure

I’m not sure why this movie gets a lot of hate. It was super entertaining, the action was amazing, the plot armour was there and the love story was there. Yes, it was hard to follow at some point but it’s your typical movie the good guys win blah blah. I don’t care I was loving every second of it and when they brought the Missouri out I was so overly joyed. Great movie if you want to be entertained and feel like you’re with the crew on the boat. Definitely will be watching it again.
