2.2 - what a cringey, corny, over-stylized, over-sexualized, misdirected, badly shot, unnecessary, poorly acted at worst and phoned in at best, mess of a movie. Thank goodness Chris Nolan came around just a few years later to flip this universe on its head.

This is definitely not a good movie but I still enjoyed it. The Lego Batman video game levels make a lot more sense now

A hundred million ass cameos, equally ass costumes, horrible writing, and the worst crime of all absolutely boring and long. This film absolutely did not need to be 2 hours long. Barbara is criminally underutilized, watching batman is like watching paint dry, Robins annoying,

After the rewatch every second of mr freeze I enjoyed sometimes without him it was boring but if you look at this from a comedy perspective it’s fantastic and cheesy but from a serious perspective you may as well take ants more seriously 8.8/10 gets better with time

My friend put this on and fell asleep so I was forced to watch it by myself and it actually made me throw up.

One liner after the next …. Dog water. We are no longer friends.

4/5 I love this movie sm idk why people hate on it so much it’s a really fun movie it does have its flaws with some of the writing and I’m not that much big of a fan of the casting but this movie is so colorful, whimsical, and super nostalgic to me and poison ivy is da best

Oddly very very campy. I loved the design of Gotham, so cool and dark and futuristic. Dialogue is not the best but I do think that Clooney is a great Batman, Bruce could have used some more arrogance while in public. The colors and vibe make this movie so much better. (OutOfWords

This movie straight up sucks.
The bat-nipples makes this movie deserve a 0.
The dialogue sounds like it was written by a 8 year old.
Mr. Freeze is a good character but it’s lost in translation because his design and constant ice puns make him insufferable.
Gotham turning into a city of ice and vines could have been cool if it was pulled off.
Bane is basically relegated to a henchman.
Bruce Wayne is given nothing to do so the whole movie is just Batman which isn’t a pro or con.
Robin and Batgirl feel a little too gimmicky.
I hate how unserious this movie is, Alfred could have had a super compelling arc about Bruce becoming a paternal figure to the younger generation in the Manor but nothing ever comes.
This movie is very upsetting because it could have been good and it was thrown away.

Maybe I woke up in an unusually good mood, but I actually had a somewhat good time with this.

The dialogue is crazy and cheesy, I’m not sure how someone wrote that and was like “yeah, that’s a good line”. Visual effects hold up surprisingly well, costumes, despite being clunky have become kinda iconic - looking at you “Bat-Nipples”. I don’t like the portrayal of Bane here, but otherwise villains were handled well unlike Batman Forever.

First off all I hate everything about what Alicia Silverstone done as Barbara/Batgirl, absolutely awful performance. I really like Arnie’s Freeze, it works well and he plays it earnestly. Hit or miss with Thurman’s Ivy, couldn’t help but be amazed by how much she looks like her daughter in this film.

Much better than Batman Forever, which I can comfortably say is my least favourite by a considerable margin now. Not perfect, at all, but I think deserves a second chance - felt reminiscent of the vibes from the Lego Batman games.
