Terrible acting... Also, why did they have to have Norman die, and find his mother’s corpse? In the original, her corpse was already FOUND.

Absolutely bizarre. Alex is a good and fun character to follow as a stand-in for Norman. Wacky and odd soundtrack choices. Random shoe-horned subplot in the last 30 minutes about a random yoga instructor and prom ghosts. Also, HGTV? Very cheesy and I had a good time.

What a wild film. I actually liked Alex as a character and enjoyed the story until the 3rd act, where it out of nowhere totally loses its focus. Still, the goofy music, awful dialogue at times, and fact that it’s more a home renovation movie than a horror film made it a fun watch

Bates Motel
Lacklustre, bizarre and forgotten instalment in the Psycho franchise. It lost me in the 3rd act, the first and second weren’t good by any means but they were fun. I don’t really know why this got made, considering it came out between Psycho III and Psycho IV, 5/10
