I really tried to like this, I truly did but I just couldn't, thsi movie is incredibly scattered in a bad way, not in a way that true art is sometimes but a mess.

What an interestingly woven mess. Three very magnetic stories pulled together by common threads. A lot of baggage being managed.

I think I’m becoming a fan of Iñárritu. I love how his stories connect with each other even when the characters are living in completely different parts of the world.

Iñárritu’s style is creating very dramatic and emotionally heavy films, often exploring themes of pain, loss, and human struggles. At the beginning, the film felt a little slow, but suddenly it pulls you in and keeps you in a constant state of curiosity and intrigue.

His way of telling interconnected stories and building emotional tension is what makes his films so unique.

There were unnecessary sexual scenes that weren’t adding to the plot

The Asians really werent necessary. How is this movie dedicated to the directors kids? Like what could this movies message (whatever it was) be directed for kids. Very complicated and long. Not worth it in my opinion.

Think of the consequences before taking an action. I love films like these where different parts of people lives all connect in some way, short said this film is about making mistakes, griefing and gun violence 9/10.

Nice story about travelling with passion

I’m a sucker for interconnected stories so this film was perfect for me. The way it’s shot, and the score, absolutely mesmerizing. Enjoyed every single second of this film and how it explores communication barriers. There are no villains, only victims of fate & circumstance.

I can see how if I watched this with patience and a gentle state of mind, I could really appreciate the art in directing these overlapping nuanced stories

But watching this honestly stressed me out to a point where I was skipping entire scenes just to get over it 😭

This one hurts cause this movie had some very good elements, but it also struggled as an overall film

Alejandro González Iñárritu's most overlooked film. A powerful tale about the horrors of what a bad deed can do and the domino effect it has. A strong commentary on society and how things effect people. There is a club scene that stood out to me immensely. See it.
