This movie is so average. Why does everyone lose their shit over this one

It took me over 10 years to get around to watching this and I can’t believe it, this was incredible

Beautiful

Good movie little too long and too long of fight scenes

This is just “Dances With Wolves” but not nearly as good and with blue cat people. 4/10

Boring

Ass is still numb from sitting in the theater for this garbage back in 2009.

6/10 i rewatched this bc of @obi and @kaydelty 🫣 it definitely was better than the 2/10 rating i gave it before, but not by much. it rlly only got good halfway thru, and even after that i was still kinda bored. its a very pretty movie, but the story just wasnt my favorite.

I thought Avatar was overrated, till around when number 2 came out, and I gave Avatar a go. Never had i been so wrong. James Cameron truly makes his imagination come alive. I then watched number 2 straight after, and the only reason I'm not giving this a higher rating is because, to me, number 2 is 2 times better in every way. The fact this is already brilliant, iconic, revolutionary, immense, emotional, all the above, and yet can still improve is crazy.

I love how Jake and Neytiri protect each other

Really good movie a little long and a little predictable at times but definitely worth the watch

watched growing up, watched again not too long ago and let me just say you won’t find better cinematography

Visually stunning if this ever gets a rerelease I’ll go see it butttt the story is what I call basic and boring and it shouldn’t be 3 hours 8.4/10

Love the world. Love the movie. Love the connection to nature. Love the Romance. Being one with Nature I love that.

this movie definitely lives up to its name. it was amazing, beautiful, and immersive. after watching it, it felt like a long and beautiful memory.
