The ending is very sad, but the unfortunate thing is that it didn't have as much impact because their relationship felt soulless right from the start. Everything else is fine, I suppose, but that's a big aspect to fail on.

all men do is lie and cheat even if they’re old & you’re literally dying :/ reminded me of A Walk to Remember but worse cuz i just didn’t like them together, idk i just didn’t see a need for the age gap
