For a while, the film gets by on silliness alone. But in the end, it all amounts to no more than a sniggery guilty pleasure.

Boring

plots kinda predictable,, the ending really picked up and redeemed all the initial cringe i felt from the beginning of the film. did i mention how questionable the lead was?? like the plot and concept was there- if u want regency just watch any bridgerton show they do it better!!

One of my all time favourite films. Watched it earlier in the year and I've watched it around 5 times since. There is not a full moment. It has the perfect balance of comedy to romance.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would. I regret scrolling past it for so long. The setting was cheesy and fun but the plot had depth.
