the whole time i was so confused what the plot was but it was pretty to look at while high

9.3 - I absolutely know this is not going to be for everyone. Some will find it boring. Many will find it painfully unfunny. But the longer I sit with it the deeper it burrows in my brain. And I still can’t pretend I understand most of it. But I think that’s why it works.

I feel i overall enjoyed it but i can't say i really understood what was happening, the visuals are amazing, and music, i enjoyed a lot of scenes, but i wish the plot was more organized and coherent

• The jump between the stage play and documentary creates a fascinating layer of storytelling.

The Friction:
• The meta-textual jump to the black-and-white documentary part really dragged for me.
• So many famous faces popping up for tiny roles felt a little distracting and crowded.

Verdict:
Watch for a brainy, soulful movie. Skip if you need a straightforward plot.
