The worst book adaptation to assault my eyes

This was trash, half the time i was confused the other half wanted it to end

You know, I would say I love it, but I think I’m more in love with the idea than the movie itself. I guess I’m just a sucker for criminal masterminds and that kind of clouds my judgment. Don’t get me wrong, it’s definitely worth the watch. You just won’t watch it more than twice.

A poor adaptation of a fantastic book series. Very disappointed in the outcome and character portrayal.

I read the book first so the comparison didn’t help. But it felt like it was lacking something from the story

As a huge fan of the books, this was terrible.

Hell no

I was in between a dislike and meh, till I realised I was making excuses for something I didn't grow any interest for. Luckily it feels short, although some scenes prolong for no reason. The visual effects were great, the ideas were great, but the execution could have been better. The casting is good but very forgettable. The pacing is fine, the story is fine and all in all, that's the problem. It all blends together like a stain. It wasn't really worthwhile and for a name like 'Artemis Fowl', it does no justice. It's not 'foul' but it does arte'miss'.

the film was okay, but was definitely for a younger demographic, it has serious potential, but is boring at times and some plot points seem to be thrown in for 'convince'
