fucking fantastic probably the best alien movie i’ve seen i wish i could watch it for the first time again not once did i know what was gonna happen next

9.9 - New all timer. This was beautiful & heartbreaking & hopeful. The production design, the story, the acting, the slow burn for an emotion packed conclusion. Immaculate. I want to write more but I’m too awestruck.

I took an issue with the subject matter until I understood more from the book.
It seems some things the movie did right, some things the book did right. Both Chiang and Denis are geniuses in their own fields.
It's inspirational and deep and most certainly not about aliens. /tbc

Absolute snooze fest.

The “if you could watch your whole life over, would you change anything?”

Profound I guess. But this movie is such a dud. For the stakes they try to present… man it was boring, cop out of an ending as well
