Chilling narrative with beautifully simple scenery that forces you to focus on Mads and drives the story home. Mads’ acting is superb in the emotions conveyed in a film with little dialogue. A realistic, and all the more emotional for it, story about survival.

A movie about nothing

I can tell you this, if you’ve come here looking for exciting action, your in the wrong place. While it does have a lack of huge thrill, it still manages to be an exciting survival drama in the long run. Mads Mikkelson manages to turn a simple script into a great film. 8.2/10

It was aight. Love mads

I wouldn’t watch it again but it was a good movie. Unfortunate that he and the girl passed away at the end, but I still liked the film. Doesn’t have any of the exaggerated extra shit like zombie movies.

If you like Gritty survival movies this is pretty solid. Mads’ performance is fantastic!

Stressful

100% one of the best survival movies. Cuts the bullshit that plagues this genre and gets straight to it and leaves the backstory up to interpretation. Also cannot go without mentioning the gorgeous scenery (which is Iceland not actually the arctic). Pretty pretty cool. 7/10

Mads 😳

Good

I appreciate the movie and I love Mads Mikkelson, but it was a slog. Watch Never Cry Wolf for a fantastic movie set in the freezing cold.

Surprisingly i enjoyed the “no back story” and very little dialogue, just pure survival. That ending almost had me tho, so glad they did get saved even if we didnt see it

So it was interesting to a point. The end was lack luster and how he began where he was in the start of the movie was never explained other than it’s assumed he crash landed there. I love the actor. He did a fine job. The script needed more.

Meh, boring version of Cast Away

It was decent until the end, really drags you along all the way until the end and then just really doesn’t finish the story. Ridiculous in my opinion
