Intriguing with the realistic POV take on a psychopath, even more disturbing that it's based on true events. Even though this was slow as shit and felt like an eternity, I still think it's an essential watch for anyone that would want to know what would go through a psychopath's mind.

the camera work was INSANE. this is one of the first horror movies where i had to look away cause it was just so uncomfy. it does a good job at making you feel like you are actually there which made me sick but i can appreciate that they succeeded at what they were trying to do

The camera work, music, and internal monologuing were phenomenal and effective. I absolutely love all the changes made from the true story because they just make the killer look dumb, sloppy, and awkward, and that’s how fictionalized versions of killers SHOULD look.

This really showed, a spiral into madness, sadism and the excitement he got after being caught, seeing people suffer etc really shows what a person he is.
The eerie silence of the movie really touched me.
I really liked it.

this movie confused me. it was very weird and in a different language which i didn’t realize when i first heard of this movie. it wasn’t bad by any means but there’s definitely other murder movies that are better.

I mean this movie is very slow. 95 percent of it is inner monologue. Very little dialogue. Rey interesting shots. Closeup and high and low angles.
Shows a lot of monotony in real time which does add to the realism but it does drag. Excellent acting by the main protagonist.

shouldve listened to the internet when they said this was the most disturbing movie ever. very hard to watch, but movies like that always interest me. i almost turned it off after the bathtub scene as it crushed my soul, and also that poor dog 😔
