this was better than i was expecting. first off, i’m obsessed with the cast, such good casting. secondly, i really like that the film focuses around one album, i love jagged little pill, and love the idea of a music critic chasing the glory of where the album was written.

For a film centered on music the songs had to have been great, and TOPS did not disappoint. I felt really bad for Grace AND for the people that have to be around her; she can be incredibly frustrating sometimes. It ends on a really nice note and Barbie is so gorgeous.

wait guys i like this. i went with my sisters and they said that it is shit from a butt so it def isn’t good. like i actually liked it.

my bffs boyfriend is like part of a metal indie music scene so it unfortunately reminds me of when i go to his shows with her. like i knew exactly what she was feeling the whole time but she was actually into it.

i thought it was funny and loved rodrick omg he’s still so fine. like WOAH. i will be doing a double peace sign from now on.

mg also i knew one of the band member actors and i felt so movie educated. like i was so surprised to see the guy from “i like movies”

It was like okay but not amazing

Okay first of all NOT BAD. It coudlve been better but its okay. Second of all I HATE HOW THEY GAVE MORE CHEVY AND GRACE MOMENTS CUZ IDGAF I NEEDED MORE ARCHIE AND GRACE. HOW DARE THEY END IT LIKE THAT I MEAN YES FINALLY BUT WHY. Lastly archie was gripping tf out of that vibrator.

Really easy to relate to

Mile End Kicks is a film steeped in newfound independence and indie rock. It reminds me of my own time being 21 and on my own- just without the rock. It's scary, jarring, and confusing, but it's also such a potent time, a feeling that Kicks nails.

wanted to love this so badly but the main character being inconsiderate & insufferable made me feel nothing. i loved the dedication to make the time period feel exactly like 2011 , it was the biggest redeeming quality of a film that only made me laugh a couple of times

Not enough Rodrick

It's very important to spend your early 20s doing stupid ass shit. Really appreciated this

It’s a good movie but I just found the main character to be very unlikeable. She makes awful decisions. And while it felt very fair for her character, I was frustrated with her throughout.

I was really wanting to like it more. I didn’t hate it but didn’t love it. Don’t see a rewatch. And would have LOVED more Alanis.
