Tarkovsky Binge No. 2: An epic and poetic portrayal of art, faith and human struggle

Boring without ever being bad.

A true masterpiece. Even without knowing any of the history behind this story, I was still immersed from the beginning. Fantastic cinematography, acting, and writing from another Tarkovsky gem. 10/10

An absolute masterpiece.

This started out confusing but I was very invested by the end. This is a beautiful movie and I highly recommend it.
