Genuinely funny and rewatchable. I would watch a version of this for every horror movie, way better than how original actors are treated in other remakes (like Jurassic World Dominion)

Its alright wasnt really funny, had a few chuckles and only had two funny moments but the movie was entertaining to watch fully 6/10

music was fire but i thought it was gonna be more jack black comedy. but i liked the Ice T and JLo cameo

Honestly, way funnier than I expected. If you’re in the right mood, this is a fun watch. The movie as a whole isn’t anything that’s good, but there are small scenes to appreciate.

That one movie where Frank Heffley pees on jack black

This was such a mess. The original might be camp but at least it felt like it tried creating tension. The anaconda never actually feels like a genuine threat here. It’s barely in the damn movie. Which is a shame because the comedy isn’t strong enough to sustain this film at all

Fun popcorn flick. Laughed quite a few times. My only gripe was they killed off the best character!

Terrible

Obviously lacking in a lot of things but the main thing is that it’s pretty funny, and there is in fact an anaconda, but for like two seconds really. Also ice cube shows up for legit two seconds, says he’s gonna go do something and then we don’t see him again, pretty weird. It was pretty funny and decently entertaining which is all you need from a jack black and Paul Rudd film, they were great in this.

My score: 4/10

it was okay

Although I absolutely love Paul Rudd and Jack Black I had absolutely no desire to see this. I was actually pleasantly surprised how much fun I had! Rudd and Black are fantastic together! It was a lot of fun to watch, plus snake CGI technology has come a long way since 1997.

Properly entertaining. Good concept too, Greg’s dad is a great actor.

Meh just because it’s nothing crazy

Honestly, I think its biggest strength is its self awareness. They knew it was going to be corny and leaned into it. It’s worth the watch but it’s definitely a one and done for me.

Anaconda is a modern take on the classic monster movie. It follows a team of researchers deep in the Amazon, uncovering a new species of giant anaconda. The film balances suspense and action, with some standout visuals and practical effects.

It was an okay watch.

Jack black amazing as always. However the first hour was so boring and lacking any humor. The last 40 minutes were the best part of the movie.

Very slapstick, with lots of jumpscares. The jokes did at times feel a bit predictable or primitive but what can you expect from this type of film?
