This movie is a gripping, infuriating look at institutional racism. Nicole Beharie delivers a stunning, fierce breakout performance as a mother fighting for her children and her dignity. A true-story triumph that will stay with you. ⚖️✊

The acting was amazing and portrayed strong emotions. The grandma put me off so much, like why would she let her grandkid stay with a known child molester then get upset went her daughter got mad? (3-8-25)
