another pretty excellent film inspired by comic books and those who make them. a rather bleak yet realistic story and i absolutely loved how they were able to use the real people, rip. paul giamatti always kills it, amazing writing, performances, and visuals; underrated

You can really tell Giamatti and Davis studied the people they were playing, as they got the mannerisms down perfectly. Stylistically the film is really unique as well. Great recommendation

I had never heard of Harvey Pekar’s before this, but this film does I brilliant job telling his story. Definitely worth a watch if you are a comic book enjoyer!

The most imaginative and unique biopic I’ve ever seen. Incredible filmmaking.
