American Graffiti
One of the overrated movies ever. Minimal story, if any at all. Tries to come across as an anthology type of script but doesn’t succeed. Lucas’ story execution is suspect.

What a wild ride for a single night.. Really enjoyed this film, incredible tracks and story. Felt like you were in the summer of 62.

i’m american and from the area in the film but goddamn that really felt like a completely foreign culture and people to me. how weird is it to feel alien to a place that should feel like home?

American Graffiti
Beautifully shot and written. While following a familiar story structure, the story feels fresh and real. Not a false not is felt.
While the era is almost forgotten it never feels idealistic, showing hints that things were beginning to drastically change in America

American Graffiti
a fantastic showcase for an incredible time of american living, one that is romanticized for a reason. the characters are memorable and wonderfully written, with plenty of iconic moments. surprisingly powerful and somber ending with true symbolism; nostalgic excellence

Easily George Lucas’ best film, no debate, just pure vibes and nostalgia, never grew up in the ‘60s but this film makes me miss them

i liked how it followed multiple storylines, but felt like it wasn’t as good as dazed and confused

Nostalgia for the 60s is strong in this 70s release. Music definitely played a big part. Dreyfus, Howard and Wolfman make it worthwhile.

The living in the sixties in a nutshell, it’s ok, but not enough interesting.

I wish George Lucas made more movies other than Star Wars. Definitely worth watching.
