American Dreamer

Peter and Shirley are a duo on fire. Their comedic blandness was perfectly cast. The story got to me, although it takes a while to come through with all the plot holes, it really is heartwarming. The movie as a whole was great for a first watch, but I don't see myself rewatching it. The dialogue and quotes wrapped around me so tight. I loved them. It did annoy me how it's 'sort of' based on a true story. I'll do my own research regardless, but based on this movie, I don't know what's true and false. The thought-provoking morals, though. They didn't have one ounce of false.

Terribly written and honestly it felt like a few important scenes were cut at the last minute. Peter Dinklage was great but he couldn’t save this film.
