Theatrical Cut - Remastered:

Perhaps the most aggressively the theme of jealousy has ever been portrayed in a film, ever.

Fascinating story, incredibly rich, also surprisingly funny. Characters just felt so deep and all the locations, and the world on a whole, feel so lived-in. The idea of obsession is so powerful throughout, the length people will go to for perfection, or even just being better than someone else.

The whole cast was fantastic, but wow - what a performance from F. Murray Abraham. So many layers to the character that he pulled off flawlessly. A seriously tremendous Best Actor win.

Another Best Picture winner watched, and loved - I knew the rough basis of the film, but it never played out how I expected, which is for the best. One I definitely want to revisit in the future.
