Almodóvar knows how to reach its best. You don't see spanish movies like his anywhere. It makes you think, feel, and enjoy cinema, and that's what I look for. Didn't give me an afterwards existential crisis, that's why it's not a fave🤪

honestly some of the greatest female characters i have ever seen brought to life in a film; imbued with color, charisma, heart, and raw emotion, this is an inspired watch with important messages and themes. perfect writing and performances, one to revisit and thoroughly enjoy

The colors in this film are stunning. You quickly sense the essence of each person and makes it enjoyable to care and be invested in them. Manuela’s role as a caretaker is beautiful.

i like woman characters in this film but the plot it’s not my favorite tho

i love the people that manuela interacts with and surrounds herself with and the way that it’s approached. there’s no hate, just acceptance

Un sentimiento que jamás pensé experimentar al ver esta película… Maravillosa en cada sentido, la música, las tomas, y sobre todo la actuación tan teatral. Sentí cada momento con una pequeña lágrima en mi ojo; la garganta apretada y un sentimiento de emoción inexplicable.
