All About Lily Chou-Chou

I was NOT expecting that at all. I thought this was gonna be an emotional coming of age romance 😭 boy was I wrong. Idek how to rate this cs I almost can’t comprehend what I just watched… I feel like the creators of the movie want viewers to feel this way tho. Depressing but vibes

I couldn’t keep my eyes off the screen. It was so beautiful. The characters and story was much deeper than I ever thought it would be. There were points where I thought it was slow but the cinematography made up for it.

its a really unique film i really love the aesthetics and the cinematography and its also really heartbreaking. the ost is amazing i really really like it. I listen to it on my freetime too i just really like the tone of the album.

everybody should watch this.

seeing this film in theatres is a whole other unworldly ethereal experience. i got too many chills to count and i felt like i was flying. what an impactful movie that also is a commentary on life itself in the most genius way possible.

This got more interesting in the second half, but I totally get the point of the first half, seeing a bullied kid turning into one. At first I thought this was going to be like a wholesome coming-of-age, but that shit got dark quick.
