That creature look like some of yall

It was way too slow to start, the characters make some of the worst decisions possible, and the only one who was thinking logically was vilified for saving lives. Too few jump scares. But this movie would be SCARY AF for someone with arachnophobia. And that ENDING though? 🔥🔥🔥

Bafflement and bewilderment. This may just be one of the best in the entire franchise. Mr. Alvárez knew exactly how to take full advantage of the resources given to him. From cheesy 80s-style catchphrases to the stark silent cinematography. Ridley and Ripley brought us to this world way back, WHEN? Romulus takes the best qualities of each Alien movie and rebirths them into one collective masterpiece. Terror, love, guilt, anger, sadness, fear, hope, you could taste the adrenaline coming off the cast. My ears and eyes got shredded by the sound, set, and costume design. Pure cinema, at its peak.

Alien: Romulus is straight-up claustrophobic horror—old-school chestbursters meet next-gen terror. Feels like Gen Z got thrown into a 70s nightmare with no Wi-Fi and way too many teeth. Pure anxiety in space.

Absolutely fucking amazing film. The banter and the way the friends spoke to each other felt incredibly natural and the action was phenomenal. The sound design itself deserves a praise imo because it does such a good job at elevating the tension and atmosphere. Incredible film
