This movie is a great example of how emotionally abusive relationships can make you feel isolated, drained, and like you're never enough. I’m particularly impressed with Anna's acting. She really captured the emotional complexity of her character.

Everyone has different lived experiences, my connection made me feel close to the film.
The hypervigilance depiction and tells like obsessive behaviors, hair pulling, shutting people out felt done well. Flashbacks too.

I think the dialogue was somewhat cheap. The overall storyline was slow, but I think they made a very good point with a different perspective than they usually show with an abusive relationship. It’s more of through a friendship lens. The execution was poor overall

It’s very deep if u been through or dealt with a narcissist or a toxic relationship or friendship

didn’t have to over explain itself, perfectly captures how it feels to leave a spouse that is mentally and emotionally manipulative.

What scared me the most was the fact that my ex was that controlling, I mean the whole time I was just imagining myself in Alice’s shoes. Related to her in a sense which made it much more intriguing.

i wouldn’t call this a thriller in any way, but i thought the directing and acting was done really well. every little detail gave you insight into alice’s state of mind. a sad watch with a very realistic portrayal of an abusive relationship.

The story had a lot of potential. I thought the subplot could’ve been used more/in a different way. Anna Kendrick gave a fantastic performance though. I really liked the cinematography and the way it was used to visually bring the story along. Overall could’ve been better

A story about emotional abuse (can be triggering for those that have dealt with it) and a great performance from Anna. Story didn’t have enough depth for me and the movie felt short on content but dragged out to meet the 90 min mark using b-roll.

6.2/10 - i really felt the anxiety and helplessness. the panic attack in the bathroom was so realistic and the ending makes you realize how important this friendships really are.

Boring

Fragile, raw, intimate, real. Terrible to know people need to endure this and a great example of manipulation and spiraling inside a romantic relationship. Great performance by Anna Kendrick.
