More bad than good. Starting with the fact, I'll probably never rewatch this because of the terrible pace. Felt like 2 whole days nevermind 2 hours. The casting was terrible, too. The acting was alright, but I didn't feel any chemistry, and the singing was embarrassingly bad. Will Smith brought nothing to the genie, and neither did Guy Richie to Aladdin. Everything I enjoyed has already been done, the only difference being live action. The cgi was great, but the greenscreening wasn't. Also, Jaffar was heavily devolved. Still can't believe they chose gangster Guy to direct.

This movie successfully balances classic nostalgia with modern flair. Will Smith makes the Genie his own, and the chemistry between the leads was incredibly sweet. The massive dance sequences deliver pure, blockbusting popcorn fun.
