Great old movie with beautiful shot, and a dreadful atmosphere.

I understand the girl who walked into the woods because there is nothing left for her and leaving the madness of men. It’s kind of a “Last of the Mohicans” situation with Alice

Is it greed? Is it main character syndrome? Is it madness? All 3 bay-bee.

Werner Herzog’s films can be considered an endurance test for the audiences: His early films defiantly prophecies his career in documentary filmmaking as this is filmed in much like a documentary.

I tried to stick with it but couldn’t finish. Definitely an adventurous undertaking in production, though.

Aguirre, the Wrath of God is hypnotic, poignant, and above all chilling. This is one of those films that after it’s over, it lingers in your mind for weeks. There was so much to unpack and admire that I think Im going to have to rewatch this soon. This was brilliant. 10/10
