Mads Mikkelsen!! Why is that man so pretty????

- ooh okay i like the sound design — that clinking, chains?
- OH SHIT I THOUGHT THIS WAS A DANISH FILM IT'S FRENCH
- I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR MADS TO SPEAK FRENCH HOLY SHIT
- on the one hand: French, ew. But on the other: Mads speaking it is fucking sexy.
- hey hugh speaks french too… 👀
- ooh ik it's just make up/sfx but the mistreatment of those horses makes me MAD
- Mads is soooo tanned wth
- ooh that makes me angry. i hope kohlhaas gets his revenge >:(
- these scenes are very jumpy.
- ah the classic origin story of 'they murdered his wife'. it was either her or the daughter.
- relies quite a bit on sound rather than dialogue.
- not the doggies :(
- heheh this reminds me of that tumblr post of all of greek mythology joining in Some Guys quest to punch zeus — except its a horse-obsessed dude off to murder a baron.

- But on a serious note, it’s pretty good commentary on the classism of the time — how the baron was only given a short prison sentence, and was only given that ‘justice’ because of Michael’s crusade. And how Michael, the poor man, was executed for simply daring to challenge the upper class.

I wasn’t that interested. Mads Mikkelsen did a good job and I was able to understand everything (I speak intermediate french), it just wasn’t my taste.
