After Ever Happy

unpopular opinion: Tessa was ALWAYS the toxic one. Hardin found a healthy way to deal with his trauma and she still gets upset. She makes everything about herself and i hope harding moves on from her in the next movie cuz anything he does will never be good for her.

I HAVEN’T EVEN WATCHED THIS BUT I REFUSE. AFTER EVER HAPPY? WHAT KIND OF NAME IS THAT. WHO COMES UP WITH THESE? WHOEVER DID: JAIL. LIFE SENTENCE. THESE STUPID MOVIES LITERALLY HAVE THE WORST STORYLINE I HAVE EVER SEEN. IT’S LITERALLY JUST THEM KISSING FOR TWO HOURS IN EVERY ONE.

Honestly this series frustrates me. All they do is breakup and get back together and the only reason they breakup every time is because of their lack of communication. I’ve watched all 4 movies and I will still watch the 5th when it comes out. Overall It’s a cute series.

Best scene of all time is Hardin storming out after nearly punching Landon and absolutely belting ‘fuck’

After four films, it’s amazing to finally see Hardin maturing and genuinely striving to be a better person in After Ever Happy. Throughout the series, I’ve loved his character but yearned for him to confront his flaws and demons head-on. This instalment fulfils that and effectively sets the stage for the final film.

Hardin wasn’t the only character who experienced significant growth in this film. Tessa’s journey in After Ever Happy was equally compelling. It began with another fight with Hardin but progressed through her father’s passing and her decision to move away for a fresh start. For the first time in the series, I genuinely empathised with Tessa. Everything finally caught up with her and action was clearly needed.

I’m eagerly anticipating the conclusion of Tessa and Hardin’s story in the next and final instalment. Given the vast potential outcomes for After Everything, I genuinely hope the series concludes on a happy note for the pair!
