i love the nonlinear structure and how the creative process is depicted, it’s painfully relatable and real
it breaks all the rules to show that you can break them and still tell such a profound story
i was touched by so many scenes in this, the acting and writing was captivating

don’t remember watching

An original film about a screenwriter’s hardships while writing an adaptation of a book about orchids. Nicolas Cage is hilarious and deep and the rest of the cast are just as good. The movie is insane and cleverly written as well. I give this film 5 Cages out of 5.

If there was an award for Nicolas Cages’s presence in a movie, this film would receive two of these awards.

It’s a good movie, if you like meta movies and Nicolas Cage. Meryl Streep is great as always, and her love interest in the story is pretty good too.

Never thought I’d give this a high rating after seeing clips from the movie. although a few scenes were sort of odd in some ways I loved the messaging overall!
