i love the nonlinear structure and how the creative process is depicted, it’s painfully relatable and real
it breaks all the rules to show that you can break them and still tell such a profound story
i was touched by so many scenes in this, the acting and writing was captivating

don’t remember watching

An original film about a screenwriter’s hardships while writing an adaptation of a book about orchids. Nicolas Cage is hilarious and deep and the rest of the cast are just as good. The movie is insane and cleverly written as well. I give this film 5 Cages out of 5.

Super clever, meta, and about of a mindf@&$, but also has something I think everyone can relate to with Charlie’s feelings of inadequacy and self doubt.
