About Schmidt
I liked the theme but I didn't get to feel much for the protagonist.

It was ok, I love Jack but this movie made me feel depressed/sad but it wasn’t terrible 5/10

About Schmidt
“Aging white guy not realizing he has it better than 99.9% of the planet” is not my favorite trope but I guess it ended ok. You’ll eventually be forgotten. Try not to be a dick while on this mortal realm but just existing is enough. Exist for the you, for the now.

Got a little teary eyed at the last scene. Nicholson and Bates at their best. Mulroney cracks me up from the sight of him.

About Schmidt
I spent 4 godamned dollars on this piece of shit just to wait two dreadful, tedious, hellish hours to see an old man cry. What the hell was the point? His wife’s still dead his kid’s still married and he’s still alone, pointless movie with no emotional depth. Forced as a fishfry

About Schmidt
Alexander Payne’s style of dramedy works so well in both of the two films I’ve seen of his. Jack Nicholson’s best performance since A Few Good Men? Maybe, it’s an understated and subtle performance but not one to be slept on. A smidge too long, other than that it’s wonderful

I saw it once. There’s one haunting scene. Otherwise don’t remember it.
